Office Administrator

Unity seeks an Office Administrator to join our team at REGIONAL OCCUPATIONAL CARE CENTER, a practice division of Unity Healthcare. Candidate will be joining a well-established practice with one Physician and four Nurse Practitioners.

Regional Occupational Care Center (ROCC) provides comprehensive occupational and health and safety services to companies and individuals. Our clients include large corporations, small businesses, unions, governmental agencies, municipalities, and not-for-profit organizations.

ROCC is committed to providing superior quality and cost-effective employee health services, while maintaining positive health outcomes for patients. We provide strong communication among the health care team while responding to company needs.

Our ideal Office Administrator will have administrative experience overseeing and managing day to day operations and have a strong clinical background. Individual will work in conjunction with the Medical Director to develop and execute policies and procedures as well as hiring, training, and evaluating staff. Individual will oversee, prepare, and review company records for legal compliance of worker’s compensation cases as well as facilitate, train, and oversee federal and nonfederal drug and alcohol screening processes. Individual will assist with marketing outreach to local businesses as well as coordinate business activities and review monthly account ledgers. Individual must have the ability to multi-task, maintain confidentiality, and tolerate stress with strong conflict resolution skills. Must be a self-starter, able to handle multiple priorities, make decisions under pressure and work in a fast-paced environment.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

•Nursing or medical office experience preferred
•Occupational Medicine experience preferred
•2 Years Office Administrator experience preferred
•Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills required
•Demonstrates proficiency in medical terminology
•Must have attention to detail and excellent multi-tasking skills
•Ability to problem solve medical and non-medical issues
