About Dr. DiMartino
Dr. Nancy DiMartino came to the Lafayette area in 1996 to pursue her dream of providing cancer care that incorporates the whole person, helping her patients to achieve balance of body, mind, emotion and spirit. 

Dr. DiMartino is a graduate of Cornell University where she received her Bachelor of Arts degree in 1975 and the New Jersey College of Medicine where she received her Medical Degree in 1979. She is triple board certified in Internal Medicine, Hematology and Oncology. After completing her medical training at Tuffs-New England Medical Center in 1982, Dr. DiMartino was appointed Assistant Professor of Medicine at Boston University's School of Medicine and spent the early part of her career teaching and pursuing research at the Boston VA Medical Center.  She was appointed Chief of Hematology-Oncology Section at the VA Medical Center in 1992, but left her academic practice in 1996 to return to full-time patient care, here in Indiana. 

Her team at Lafayette Cancer Care has a patient centered approach with the patient actively involved in decision making.  Lafayette Cancer Care provides a peaceful, uplifting environment conducive to wellness. 

Dr. DiMartino also encourages her patients to participate in their own healing. "Each person's healing program is uniquely tailored to what they think they need, and what I perceive they need. No one wants his or her efforts to participate in their own healing to be dismissed."

Practice emphasis on delivering state-of-the-art cancer therapy while balancing the needs of the spirit, the mind and the emotions with those of the physical body.
