About Dr. Matthews
Musculoskeletal and Interventional Radiology Specialist
Dr. Matthews was certified by the American Board of Radiology in General Radiology in 1993 and Interventional Radiology in 1999. He previously practiced with Radiology Associates in Jeffersonville, Indiana for eleven years where he was president of the group for several years.

Dr. Matthews received his B.A. in Biology from the University of Texas in 1984, graduating Summa Cum Laude. He then attended the Baylor College of Medicine, where he received his M.D. in 1988. Dr. Matthews completed his residency in Diagnostic Radiology at the University of Tennessee in 1992, and was selected to serve as Chief Resident in 1991-1992. He also completed a mini fellowship in Interventional Radiology.

Dr. Matthews is a member of the American College of Radiology, the Indiana State Medical Society, and the Society of Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiology. He has served as the president and secretary of the Greater Louisville Radiological Society. Dr. Matthews has also given regular lectures to the Radiology residents at the University of Louisville.
