About The Ultimate Pink Party 2008
St. Elizabeth Regional Health and Unity Healthcare will be hosting the 1st Annual Ultimate Pink Party (formerly Celebration of Women) on October 10, 2008. This event will be held at the Best Western in Lafayette, Indiana from 5:30 pm - 11:00 pm.
This fund raiser benefits the YWCA Women's Cancer Program. The YWCA Women's Cancer Program strives to eliminate inequities in health care experienced by many women by removing barriers to access and promoting effective community-based outreach, education, and referrals to appropriate clinical services.
The program provides low-cost or free screenings for breast and cervical cancers, including mammograms, breast ultrasounds, biopsies, Pap tests, pelvic exams, and colposcopies. The program serves women in Tippecanoe County and 22 other Indiana counties: Benton, Boone, Carroll, Cass, Clay, Clinton, Fountain, Greene, Hamilton, Howard, Jasper, Miami, Montgomery, Newton, Parke, Pulaski, Sullivan, Tipton, Vermilion, Vigo, Warren and White.
Vendor Information
The Main banquet room will hold our vendors and be center stage for our speaker presentations and demonstrations. We are expecting the attendance to be around 125 individuals consisting mostly of women from Tippecanoe and the surrounding counties. You will see in the sponsorship packet that space is limited. The response from those who attended our Celebration of Women events in the past has been phenomenal.
We hope that you will join us to supply spa services for our event or take advantage of this opportunity to market your products and services in the main room. This evening will provide fun, food and entertainment for all women who attend. We hope we can count on you to participate. Participant Information
This year our goal is to educate, have fun and gain contributions for the YWCA Greater Lafayette Women's Cancer Program.
Tickets will be going on sale August 8th through the YWCA. The tickets are $60 for the entire evening. This ticket will include a plated dinner, spa service, vera bradley cosmetic bag with Merle Norman Products, entertainment from the Purduettes, and access to the chocolate extravaganze at 10pm. We will have educational topics covering breast cancer, cardiac metabolic syndrome and financial planning provided by the Spirit of Women. We will also have demonstrations provided by our vendors throughout the evening.Please contact the YWCA at 765.742.0075 to order your tickets.
**Suite III Advanced Laser and Skin Rejuvenation Center will be on hand to administer Botox for a fee. Reservations are required in advance. For more information or to schedule an appointment, please call Suite III at 765.449.2423.
For those choosing to make an overnight event of it, we have reserved a block of rooms at the Best Western for a special rate. If you are interested in staying overnight, please let the YWCA know when you order your ticket.

The drawing will be held and the winner announced on Friday, October 10, 2008 at The Ultimate Pink Party at the Best Western in Lafayette. You do not need to be present to win.
All proceeds are donated to the YWCA Cancer Program. The quilt raffle is a registered event with the IN Dept. of Revenue.
Pink Ribbon Suckers
Kathy's Kandies at 611 Main Street is selling pink ribbon chocolate suckers in chocolate, cherry and peppermint flavors. The ribbons are $1.50 each with a portion of the proceeds going to the YWCA Women's Cancer Program. For more information about the suckers call: 765.429.5176
