Unity Healthcare Receives 2 Area Advertising Awards

Unity Healthcare received a Gold and Silver award at the American Advertising Federation of North Central Indiana's annual ADDY Awards banquet.

This year's event was held at the Purdue Memorial Union Ballrooms, the awards honored creative excellence in advertising efforts executed during 2011. The ADDYs is conducted annually by the American Advertising Federation (AAF) which is a three-tier, national competition recognizing exceptional advertising created in the Greater Lafayette area in all media including print, broadcast, out-of-home and public services.

The AAF-NCI Rising Star Award went to Jamie Proffitt, Unity Healthcare's Graphic Designer.  The AAF-NCI Rising Star Award is presented annually at the ADDY Awards Banquet to recognize and encourage young marketing professionals to continue in their efforts that make a difference in their chosen marketing/advertising career and in the community they live. 

The local Gold ADDY award winners will be competing in the district competition.  The district competition which encompasses entries from Indiana, Illinois and Michigan will be held in Lafayette, Indiana from March 15- 17th.  Winners will be announced in late March. The district winners will go on to compete at the national level later this year.
