Lafayette Rehabilitation Therapist Attends Conference

Marianne Fleming, MS, PT recently attended the Matheson Mastery Series conference in Las Vegas for Advanced FCE (Functional Capacity Evaluation) Topics.  The conference was designed for the experienced functional capacity evaluator. Marianne acquired up-to-date knowledge regarding the latest in evidence-based research for this test and will be utilizing the techniques that are supported by the research. The FCE is designed to evaluate a person's capacity for safe work after an injury or illness.  The process looks at the person's effort, reliability, and validity while determining safe ability limits for return to work.  Marianne has been working with Industrial Rehabilitation and performing FCEs for 25 years.
