About The Ultimate Pink Party 2010

St. Elizabeth Regional Health and Unity Healthcare will be hosting the 3rd Annual Ultimate Pink Party (formerly Celebration of Women) on October 8, 2010. This event will be held at the University Plaza Hotel in West Lafayette, Indiana from 5-11pm.

This fund raiser benefits the YWCA Greater Lafayette Women's Cancer Program. The YWCA Greater Lafayette Women's Cancer Program strives to eliminate inequities in health care experienced by many women by removing barriers to access and promoting effective community-based outreach, education, and referrals to appropriate clinical services.

The program provides low-cost or free screenings for breast and cervical cancers, including mammograms, breast ultrasounds, biopsies, Pap tests, pelvic exams, and colposcopies. The program serves women in Tippecanoe County and 22 other Indiana counties: Benton, Boone, Carroll, Cass, Clay, Clinton, Fountain, Greene, Hamilton, Howard, Jasper, Miami, Montgomery, Newton, Parke, Pulaski, Sullivan, Tipton, Vermilion, Vigo, Warren and White.

This year our goal is to educate, have fun and gain contributions for the YWCA Greater Lafayette Women's Cancer Program.

Tickets are on sale now through the Kathryn Weil Center of Education. The tickets are $65 for an individual or $480 for a table of 8. This ticket will include a plated dinner, spa service, gifts, entertainment, shopping, silent auction and access to the chocolate extravaganza at 10pm. We will have educational topics provided by the Spirit of Women. We will also have demonstrations provided by our vendors throughout the evening.Please contact the Kathryn Weil Center at 765.449.5133 to order your tickets. Must be 18 to attend.

"The Girls from Ames" Book by Jeffrey Zaslow
Angela Jamison, featured in the book, will be speaking at the event about her significant events that have been the impetus for her in realizing the important role friendships play to over-all well being.

If you would like to be a vendor/sponsor for the event, please fill out and return the sponsorship form by email/fax or mail. Space for the vendor/spa rooms will be reserved on a first come, first serve basis and will not be confirmed until payment is received. Last year the vendor rooms and the event did sell out, so don't wait. This is event will be limited to the first 400 people. Don't miss out on this fun "girls night out" event.
