Miracles Rehabilitation is the leader in 3D Physical Therapy and is the only facility in the area with Fellowship Trained clinicians who possess expertise in Applied Functional Science (AFS). AFS combines restoration of motion, strength, and function with the whole body system, which includes restoring coordination, proper sequencing and timing of motion in function. We feel this approach is vital to regain function, and to diminish the probability of future injury, re-injury, or a new injury due to body compensation.

Lymphedema can be present at birth, but most often, it results due to damage to or dysfunction of the lymphatic system. Breast cancer treatment is the most common cause of lymphedema. Physical therapy may help reduce the swelling and discomfort.
Our program uses Complete Decongestive Therapy (CDT) to treat lymphedema in the upper and lower extremities, head, neck, or pelvis. CDT can be effective in improving lymphedema symptoms such as swelling and pain. It is a more intensive program that combines bandaging, compression garments, manual lymphatic drainage, exercise, and self skin care, patient education and home exercise.
