Responsibilities
- Performs nuclear medicine examinations for diagnosis and/or treatment of patients
- Clerical/file room duties, general housekeeping, patient transportation, and miscellaneous departmental functions
- Participates in departmental Performance Improvement activities and equipment Quality Control programs
- Follow ALARA principles and practice radiation safety practices as the job requires.
- works with other departments to ensure the accomplishment of the organization’s goals.
Requirements & Skills
- Previous Nuclear Medicine /CT experience preferred
- Previous experience required for NUC and PET/CT
- PET/CT scanning experience
- Must be detail-oriented and possess precise documentation skills
- Must have the ability to acquire diagnostic images
- High school diploma required
- License(s): ARRT-R; Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist
- Certification(s): CPR
