Responsibilities

• Provide evening campus security and monitor parking compliance on campus
• Answer alarms and investigate disturbances
• Respond quickly to emergencies
• Provide assistance to patients, visitors, and staff
• Investigate and complete Incident Reports as necessary
• Maintain a thorough understanding of campus emergency procedures
• De-escalation of situations involving potentially aggressive/violent individuals
• Responsible for transporting and distributing supplies/materials between campus buildings, satellites and other businesses as needed

Requirements & Skills

• Must be professional with excellent Customer Service skills
• Previous law enforcement experience preferred (ILEA graduate)
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a good driving record
• Must be able to pass the Indiana Law Enforcement handgun qualification course
• Must have a Concealed Carry or Personal Protection firearm permit
• High School Diploma or GED required

Employment Details

• Part Time (30 hours every two weeks)
• Monday – Friday
• 4pm – 10pm, every other week
• Lafayette, IN
