Medical Receptionist

Unity seeks A Medical Receptionist to join our team at UNITY HEALTHCARE. Candidate will be joining a well-established practice with multiple physicians.

Our ideal Medical Receptionist will have basic computer knowledge, great communication and good organizational skills. Must be able to prioritize, multitask and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Previous computer experience and medical office setting experience, as well as medical terminology knowledge preferred. Superior patient relations and ability to work well under pressure a must. Candidate should also work well in a team environment and be flexible to help on anything else that the practice needs.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

•Medical Office/ Medical Terminology preferred
•Previous patient scheduling experience preferred
•Allscripts PM/EMR knowledge is a plus!
•Proficient data entry is required with basic computer knowledge
•Certification(s): High School Diploma required

RECEPTIONIST REQUIREMENTS
•Answering multi-phone lines
•Scheduling appointments and procedures
•Checking patients in/out
•Data entry, patient registration, loading insurance
•Processing payments and co-pays

EMPLOYMENT DETAILS

•Full-Time
•Monday – Friday, 7:45am – 5:00pm
•Lafayette, IN
