Unity seeks a Board Certified/Board Eligible Pediatrician to join our team at Preferred Pediatrics of Lafayette, a practice division of Unity Healthcare. Physician will be joining a well-established practice.

Our ideal Pediatrician will be personable and skilled at relationship building in order to help create a positive atmosphere at this location. The successful candidate will have a strong clinical background, with a focus on clinical excellence and patient satisfaction. Physician will display exceptional interpersonal skills and desire to develop strong ties with the community and build long-lasting relationships with patients and their families. Physician will need to work collaboratively to coordinate and deliver the highest quality of patient care.

QUALIFICATIONS

• US Residency Required
• Board Certified or Board Eligible
• Experienced pediatrician or new fellows are encouraged to apply
• State License(s): MD
• Certification(s): Controlled Substance Registration
• Not Excluded from Medicaid

• Call Schedule: Shared call among providers. The current call is every 6^th weekend and has equal holiday and weeknight coverage
• Out and In Patient Care: admitting to the pediatric floor and seeing newborns. No C-section attendance is required
• Travel: Only to the hospital for rounds or CME conferences
