Valerie B. Welch, MD
Dr. Valerie B. Welch grew up in Texas, but now considers herself a Midwesterner. She completed her undergraduate degree in Spanish/pre-med at Baylor University. She did her medical training at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, and her residency in pediatrics at the University of Louisville Kosair Children’s Hospital. She has been in private practice since 2001, and is fluent in Spanish. She is married, has two teen-age sons, and Muffin, the best dog ever.
