Miracles Rehabilitation offers individualized, comprehensive therapy for all ages and needs. It is our philosophy to focus on the individual. You have a unique history, makeup, and injuries; therefore, we believe your assessment and treatment should also be unique and tailored to your personal needs.
Our staff is comprised of highly educated, licensed professionals who care deeply about their patients and clients.
Indiana law permits physical therapists to see patients for 24 days without a referral with the exception of Medicare, BCBS, and other governmental managed plans. Although some insurance plans may require one.
Miracles Rehabilitation is the leader in 3D Physical Therapy and is the only facility in the area with Fellowship Trained clinicians who possess expertise in Applied Functional Science (AFS). AFS combines restoration of motion, strength, and function with the whole body system, which includes restoring coordination, proper sequencing and timing of motion in function. We feel this approach is vital to regain function, and to diminish the probability of future injury, re-injury, or a new injury due to body compensation.
Our occupational therapists help individuals of all ages improve their ability to perform everyday tasks. We train and retrain patients to achieve Activities of Daily Living (ADL) like eating, dressing, bathing & home management.
We help patients who have been affected by:
Our highly skilled hand therapists specialize in the rehabilitation and management of the hand and upper extremity related issues. Working with the referring physician, our therapists design each treatment based on the physician’s diagnosis and the specific needs of the patient.
Pelvic health issues affect millions of people, but many do not seek care. Both men and women can be affected by pelvic pain, urinary incontinence, sexual difficulties, and pelvic floor disorders. Miracles Rehabilitation has a pelvic health program that is personalized for your individual needs and preferences. Our goal is to help restore your confidence and return you to your full and active lifestyle.
Lymphedema can be present at birth, but most often, it results due to damage to or dysfunction of the lymphatic system. Breast cancer treatment is the most common cause of lymphedema. Physical therapy may help reduce the swelling and discomfort.
Our program uses Complete Decongestive Therapy (CDT) to treat lymphedema in the upper and lower extremities, head, neck, or pelvis. CDT can be effective in improving lymphedema symptoms such as swelling and pain. It is a more intensive program that combines bandaging, compression garments, manual lymphatic drainage, exercise, and self skin care, patient education and home exercise.
MAT restores optimal function of the muscles so you can reach your full potential. It is a systematic approach to evaluating and correcting muscular imbalances that contribute to pain and injury, impede recovery, and compromise performance. During MAT, the client is assessed using a detailed comparative movement evaluation to identify joint motion limitations. Muscle inefficiencies are identified and then reactivation methods are used to help re-establish proper muscle function.
Miracles Sports Performance Center provides a comprehensive training program for athletes of all ages. Using a whole body approach, we train the body to move effectively and efficiently in all three planes of motion.
We invite your child to participate in a speed clinic at no cost to see how it can benefit your athlete. Athletes can sign up to train as an individual or schedule your team for sport-specific training sessions at your field/facility.
The Rookie program creates a foundation in coordination, athleticism, body-weight exercises, and proper running. Starting a training program while young can lead to better abilities and create good habits that will carry into the future. 30 minutes
Training Options: Tuesday, Thursday, 5:30 – 6 pm
The Developmental program curriculum focuses on progressive athletic movement development while introducing speed mechanics, progressive resistance training, and imbalance correction. This training helps young athletes minimize potential injuries as physiology and growth patterns vary greatly during these ages. 60 minutes
Training Options: Monday, Wednesday, Friday, 5 – 6 pm
The Prep program is designed to progressively increase strength, power, speed, and change of direction ability using various resistance training and imbalance correction methods. Advanced speed training improves the athlete’s ability to accelerate, decelerate, and change direction. This level is ideal for those who want to play a varsity sport or hoping to play in college. 75 minutes.
Training Options: Monday, Wednesday, 7 – 8:15 pm
One-on-one speed and strength training is available for collegiate and adult athletes.
An injured worker’s rehabilitation process is unique. Our therapists deliver care designed to return the injured worker back to work efficiently and safely. We customize our care to the specific needs of the injured worker and the employer.
Augmented Soft Tissue Mobilization (ASTYM) regenerates healthy soft tissues, such as muscles and tendons, and eliminates or reduces unwanted scar tissue that may be causing pain or movement restrictions. Offered in all locations.
Cupping Therapy uses local suction on the skin to mobilize blood flow in order to promote healing. Suction is created using mechanical devices (hand or electrical pumps). It helps treat pain, deep scar tissues in the muscles and connective tissue, muscle knots, and swelling. Offered in all locations.
Dry Needling is a treatment for musculoskeletal pain and dysfunction during which fine needles are inserted into myofascial trigger points (painful knots in muscles), tendons, ligaments, or near nerves to stimulate a healing response for pain. Offered in Lafayette location.
Kinesio Taping® is designed to facilitate the body’s natural healing process while providing support and stability to muscles and joints without restricting the body’s range of motion. It also extends the benefits of manual therapy administered within the clinical setting for soft tissue manipulation. Offered in all locations.
Muscle Activation Technique (MAT) restores optimal function of the muscles so you can reach your full potential. It is a systematic approach to evaluating and correcting muscular imbalances that contribute to pain and injury, impede recovery, and compromise performance. Offered in Lafayette.
Vestibular Rehabilitation is an exercise-based program for reducing the symptoms of dizziness and imbalance. The focus is to improve walking and balance, and restore tolerance of daily activities. Offered in Lafayette, West Lafayette, Remington.
