National Breast and Cervical Cancer Early Detection Program (NBCCEDP)

Through the NBCCEDP, CDC helps those with low incomes who do not have adequate insurance gain access to timely breast and cervical cancer screening, diagnostic, and treatment services. NBCCEDP also provides patient navigation services to help them
overcome barriers and get timely access to quality care.

Colorectal Cancer Control Program (CRCCP)

The purpose of CDC’s Colorectal Cancer Control Program (CRCCP) is to increase colorectal cancer screening rates among people between 45 and 75 years of age. The program does this by working with clinics, hospitals, and other healthcare organizations to implement and strengthen strategies that have been shown to increase colorectal cancer screenings.

This video illustrates how CRCCP award recipients and their community partners work together to increase colorectal cancer screening rates.
