Lance Madsen with InnerVision Advanced Medical Imaging recently passed the American Board of Imaging Informatics certification. The American Board of Imaging Informatics (ABII) was established in 2007 in partnership with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), ABII establishes a new program that allows Imaging Informatics Professionals (PACS administrators) to gain certification and to earn the credential of CIIP (Certified Imaging Informatics Professional). Lance is 1 of 2 individuals in the area to complete the certification.

American Board of Imaging Informatics, Inc. (ABII) was founded in 2007 by the Society for Imaging Informatics in Medicine (SIIM) and the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). An independent, non-profit organization, ABII's mission is to enhance patient care, professionalism, and competence in imaging informatics. ABII has created and manages the Imaging Informatics Professional (IIP) certification program and awards the Certified Imaging Informatics Professional (CIIP) designation to qualified candidates.
About InnerVision Advanced Medical Imaging
Unity Healthcare opened InnerVision Advanced Medical Imaging Center in the Unity Medical Center on Creasy Lane in October of 2000, and became a joint venture with St Elizabeth Regional Health in September of 2005. The center provides computed tomography, 3T and 1.5T MRI, 4D- ultrasound, bone densitometry, x-ray, nuclear medicine and position emission tomography services to the residents and physicians of Tippecanoe County and the surrounding areas.
